Code set B is used for alphanumeric data that has both lower case letters and uppercase letters in it. Code 128 set B symbology can be used for most of the characters within the standard lower 128 ASCII table. This bar codes symbology can handle most input data. The Code 128 set B start bar has its own check digit calculation value assigned to it. ASCII characters 32 to 127 (0-9, A-Z, a-z), special characters, and FNC 1-4. Code 128 has three types of sets i.e. Code Set A, Code Set B and Code set C.
