DataBar Stacked is fixed-length, stacked linear symbology that can be used to encode14 digit GTIN. Databar Stacked is variation of RSS-14 symbology that is stacked in two rows and provides useful solution when the normal symbol would be too wide for the application. It is used for small item marking applications.

GS1-Databar Stacked symbol contains two rows of GS1-Databar Truncated. The top row is 5X and the bottom row 7X. DataBar Stacked contains stacked font that is an exact match for these specifications. There is 1X separator between two rows. So the total height of GS1-Databar Stacked is 13X. X is the width of single bar and space element. DataBar Stacked is identical to Stacked Omnidirectional barcode, but height is reduced from 33X to 13X. It provides ideal solution for small item where space is very tight.

DataBar Stacked only accept the numeric data. DataBar Stacked is variant which stacked in two rows and useful for small item marking. It is specially designed for those small items whose available space is too narrow.

Because the GS1 DataBar Stacked symbology cannot be scanned omni-directionally, it is not widely used in all POS systems.
